ABOUT US

A passion for the design and creation of hand crafted jewellery has been a driver of my spare time for many years.  An introduction to silver clay and the design opportunities that this unique product provides encouraged me to attend a training course with well-known PMC instructor Debbie Rijns.

Working with silver, bronze and copper clay led me to the fascinating world of art glass and producing cabochons to insert into my creations.  It didn’t take long for the glass bug to bite – I was hooked!

Days, if not weeks, were spent learning about art glass.  Chemical reactions of different glass colours, effects and patterns, specialised metal coatings and textures.

So many possibilities for the design of exquisite hand crafted items!  This led me to attend a 5 day masterclass presented by internationally acclaimed glass artist Tanya Veit in the USA.

Shortly after this, circumstances resulted in “spare time” becoming “full time”.  What could have been a setback in life became the opportunity that created the platform required and the Xquisite Fused Glass Jewellery (Pty) Ltd dream became reality.

I aim to provide unique beautifully hand crafted art glass jewellery that is well made and fairly priced, coupled to an excellent client service experience!
